Are you interested in teaching kids about missions? Sunday School with Kate & Mack helps you do just that!
Your elementary students will join missionary kid Kate and her macaw, Mack, on their fun adventures; they'll learn about people, languages and cultures around the world through exciting, hands-on activities. And most importantly, kids will learn how God loves all people, no matter where they live or what language they use.
“Sunday School with Kate & Mack” features six activities that teach kids about God’s heart for people around the world:
The Bible and the World
Kids get a glimpse of how the Bible has impacted the world and culture. Then they get to think about why the Bible is important to them.
Decoding the Meaning of the Bible
Kids get to decode a secret message into English. They’ll see how important it is to be able to understand the message — otherwise it’s all babble!
Choosing the Right Words
Kids see how choosing the right words helps people understand God’s message. They’ll get to look at the Tzeltal language of Mexico, which has 26 different ways of saying “to carry,” and figure out the correct version to use in context!
How to Pray for People Around the World
Kids learn the importance of prayer and that their prayers matter! They’ll also learn what prayer is as well as specific ways they can pray for people around the world.
Living Generously
Kids learn about generosity as “giving all we have and are back to God.” They’ll learn that generosity is more than just money; it’s about doing everything for God’s glory.
“Jesus Loves All People” Coloring Page
A fun coloring page that helps kids remember that Jesus loves all people and that everyone needs to know about that love in their own language.
